This usually happens because your Copilot quota does not reset on the exact payment day, but on your billing cycle renewal time, which can be a little different from when the payment is processed. Here are the main reasons why you may not see new Premium requests yet:
Even if your card is charged on your renewal date, Copilot usage limits often refresh: A few hours later Or up to 24 hours after payment is confirmed So there can be a short delay.
Sometimes the payment shows as “paid” on your bank side but is still: Pending on GitHub’s system Under verification Until it is fully cleared, quotas will not refresh.
If there was any temporary failure before success, GitHub may: Hold quota refresh Require manual verification Check this here: Make sure it shows Completed / Successful.
If you used Copilot heavily near the renewal time, some usage may still be counted before the reset finishes. Try waiting a few more hours and refresh your session: Log out of GitHub Log in again Restart your IDE
If Copilot is managed by an organization, the quota depends on the org’s billing, not your personal payment. Check: What to do if it’s still not fixed after 24 hours If you still don’t have new Premium requests after a full day: Contact GitHub Support with: Payment date Screenshot of successful payment Your username Support link: They can manually sync your quota if needed. If you want, tell me: Your plan (Pro / Business / Enterprise) When exactly you paid (date & time) I can help you check what’s likely happening in your case. |
